Web Programmer Wanted for assisting graphic/web designer

Hi: I am a freelance graphic/web designer that needs a web programmer to work on one of my web projects. I am looking for someone who is:

* Experienced in developing eCommerce website.
* Has great responsible and commitment to the project.
* Confidence in various of web programming languages.
* Awares of project deadline.
* Able to meet up in Melbourne City as I may need to meet you up to go through the project in details before the commence of the project.
* And most important: Knows what you are doing.

The project that I am working on now requires:

//// GENERAL INFORMATION ////
All the design artwork will be provided and I will prepare all the pages in HTML format with Macromedia Dreamweaver so you only need to add coding into the site. So it would be a bonus if you have past experiences working with a graphic/web designer.

There are FLASH buttons used in the site so we will need to make the link between the FLASH button and those pages that are coded.

There maybe some other FLASH element introduced into the site for promotion materials, but this is not confirmed yet. So it would be an advantage if you have good knowledge of FLASH ACTION SCRIPT. I work with FLASH as well, but not an expert with ACTION SCRIPT just to let you know.

1. TIME CONVERTER
As the website is Airport theme realted so the client will like to introduce some elements that relate to time at various of cities. This fuction will shows the current local time of the site visitor and a dropdown window that contain a list of all major cities around the world. Once the site user have selected a city from the dropdown window and hit the CONVERT button then a current time of that city will disply on the page.

2. PRODUCT SEARCH:
Search function that allows site user to search products with any related keywords entered. A result page will then display all possible products that match the search result.

3. PRODUCT PAGE - PRODUCT LINE 1
Under this section, there will be various of PRODUCT CATAGORIE and under each PRODUCT CATAGORIES there will be various of PRODUCT TYPES and under each PRODUCT TYPES there will be various of PRODUCTS.

We will need to make this section updatable for the client so in the future they can login to the ADMIN site and create as many CATAGORIES as they need and any PRODUCT TYPES and PRODUCTS under those CATAGORIES.

Information of each product are:
* Product Number
* Product Name
* Material
* Size
* Weight

4. PRODUCT PAGE - PRODUCT LINE 2
Exactly the same as PRODUCT LINE 1, expect this is another PRODUCT LINE. I may suggest them to put the PRODUCT LINE 1 & 2 under one navigation button call PRODUCT so this may make things easier, but for now just treat it as there will be 2 navigation button that one for PRODUCT LINE 1 and one for PRODUCT LINE 2.

Again, this section will all need to be updatable at clietn’s end once the site is completed.

So to make things more clear about these 2 PRODUCT LINE pages, this what happen when a visitor visit the site:

1. Site user choose which PRODUCT LINE they would like to visit via the navigation button.
2. They choose which PRODUCT CATAGORIES they would like to see.
3. They choose which PRODUCT TYPE they would like to see.
4. A PRODUCT DISPLAY page will then display all the available products.
5. A full details of PRODUCT PAGE will then display when site user click on the product thumbnail at the PRODUCT DISPLAY page.

SPECIAL NOTES 1:
If it’s possible then I am thining to display the PRODUCT DETAIL PAGE with effect of Javascript Image Gallery (If that’s what you call them). I seen couple of website that use those function: (Just click on the image to see how it display larger image)

SPECIAL NOTES 2:
Since they client may have a range of products images/information stored in their computer so we may need the function /method to upload those data onto the new developed site when the site is completed. Otherwise, if we need to upload those information one by one then it may takes ages to do so. So it would be great if we could make the system to do the jobs.

3. RETAILER LOGIN SECTION

PLEASE NOTE: This is the opional section that I may suggest to the client so you will need to provide me 2 quotes, one with this section included, one without.

This section is for the retailer to:
* Select the product they want to order and add those product to the order form
* Submit the order form online back to the site admin
* Trace the order status: EX. Order Received, Processing, Product On Delivery

Each ORDER DETAIL under TRACKING THE ORDER should shows:
* Details of the order (products, quantity..etc)
* Order Number
* Sales Person who handle this order

Since there will be ORDER TRACKING fuction so I guess we will also need a section where the site admin can login and update the order status. And since each order is assign to differnt sales person so I guess we will need the system to display the order information according to the person who login to this section.

So I guess there will be a General Manager login which allow the manager to see the entirly order form and then assign each order form to particular sales person. Which I guess he will also needs the function to:
* Add or delete sales person.
* View, Edit, Dellete all the order.
* Assign the order to sales person.
* Make the process status of each order.

Any related function you may think of please add into the quotation. As this section is just proposal so all the details aren’t confirmed yet. But just quote on the best solution you may have.

As for the sales person, the fuction will be pretty much the same as what General Manager could do, but sales can’t assign orders to other sales and can only view order that are assigned to them.

So if you are interested, please provide 2 quotes as mentioned above. Please also allow couple hours of meeting and minor changes in your estimate as I often allow some minor changes for my client as customer sevice, but you can always quote on major changes or functions later on.

PS. I will need to put the cost together for the clients within the next couple days so I will need to get the quote ASAP, but this doesn’t guarantee the project as that only happen when the client accept the quotation.
