WEB/GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Part time)

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Part time)
Immediate requirement for an experienced Graphic Designer with skills as detailed below to work 2-3 days week initially, based in our clients modern South Melbourne offices :

- Some knowledge of software interface design is important, (working on mobile
solutions)

- Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign)

- Version control (ideally Subversion)

- Strong skills in front-end web design (CSS and HTML)

- Basic scripting skills (Javascript and Actionscript) with knowledge of the Smarty template system a bonus

- Some knowledge of print preparation is handy, but not essential

That’s the basic technical skills you will need to have. As for design skills:

- A good eye for typography and layout, with an emphasis on usability

- Designing for multiple platforms, such as web design, print design and software interface design
