Command Line Browsing on Mac
Submitted by rimian on Sat, 09/13/2008 - 02:39
I've got myself a new MacBook because I can use all my Linux skills and it runs photoshop and eclipse really well.
If you're a command line user like me you might find browsing some of your favourite websites from the command line to be very productive.
Lynx is a command line web browser that been around for *nix users for many year and now you can download Lynx from Apple Downloads!
Lynx is also great for the visually handicapped.
If you're interested in design webpages with accessibility in mind then Lynx is a great tool too. And while you;re at it: check out some info on screenreaders here.
